Plan a Holiday

Take the opportunity to plan the holiday of a lifetime with your family and friends .

Please follow the six step plan.

1. Plan ahead.

Before we start we need to plan. Preparation can help us avoid problems later on. It can speed up the process because we can cope with difficulties before they happen.
If you check the seasons you can plan to cope with holiday weather - by avoiding hottest or wettest or by taking protective clothes.

2.Listing all possible sources

This allows your imagination to run wild. Include everything - and only then delete those things which are obviously impractical. Many information sources are avialable - books, websites.

3. Read, Scan, Select and Make Notes

Each information source has its own prejudices, its own strengths and weaknesses. A newspaper may select holiday information by what it thinks its readers want, a friend may like a place because of who they met rather than the place itself.
Select information and Make Notes ,Always refer your notes .

4.Organise and Present Data

You will need to Synthesise information, which means bringing it together from several sources, combining several pieces into one. You'll then have to present the information appropriately.

5.Booking the tickets

Besides the online travel agent, do not forget to surf the websites of airlines. There are often good deals waiting to meet you.Get the best room.Hotels too offer early bird discounts. When searching for accommodation facilities, do not forget to search the websites.

6.Freeze sight-seeing plans

Most hotels offer sight-seeing as a package deal. And it's better to make a deal with the hotels for local sight-seeing instead of searching for a local travel guide. More often than not it works out to be cheaper and also saves time

Plan A Weekend

Holidays are meant for relaxation that your brain needs to relax from the day-to-day hassles, tensions and worries that are the permanent guest in everybody's life.

Weekends can be planned with family so that children can enjoy and have time together with their parents. People can also go along with their loved ones to spend quality time together

weekends are all about having a good time and soaking in the moment with friends and family.

Take the kids on a field trip .

Visit nearby gym.

Get your kids involved in making a family heirloom - from scrapbooks to pottery.

Set up playrooms in your house: The living room becomes “board game central".It's free, entertaining for kids of every age.

Weekends are the time for families to reconnect. Take advantage of the years when your kids are young, and want more than anything to be with you.

A getaway trip, although a short span of time, can rejuvenate you for the tough and busy working days. So plan it carefully to enjoy it to the hilt.

Take a long bike ride. This is a great way to explore different parts of your town or local bike trails with your family & friends, plus it's great exercise. Make sure to carry lots of snacks and water and don't forget a helmet!

Burn a CD. Make a mix CD with all of your favorite songs that you can listen to in your room or while you're driving in your car.

Go to a movie. Get a bunch of your friends together and go check out a new movie.

When the time is too short for fun, take care that none of your time should be wasted in unnecessary hassles.

Nature

Our relationships with nature are a fundamental component of building and sustaining good health.

The office workers experienced lower job stress, higher job satisfaction, and fewer illnesses if they had views of nature than if they did not ।

Viewing natural scenes has a positive health impact, For example, the hospital patients who viewed natural scenes, e.g. trees and animals from their wards, recovered faster, spent less time in hospital.

Placing trees next to freeways and roads, and having roads pass through and by green areas, reduces driver stress as measured by blood pressure, heart rate and sympathetic nervous system change।

Viewing nature reduces anger and anxiety, sustains attention and interest, and enhances feelings of pleasure।

Being in nature also impacts upon health.
Exposure to nature was shown to reduce mental fatigue, irritability and accidents, and improve problem solving ability and concentration in people from urban areas who are located in a natural environment for a few days
Gardening reduces stress, encourages nurturing characteristics, builds social networks and enhances social capital. Even indoor plants have a positive effect. They have been shown to improve office air quality, increase productivity and facilitate relationships between workers.
The health benefits are considerable Physical, mental and spiritual health are all enriched when we engage with nature. It is a challenge for us to make sure it happens.

Exercise

For maintenance of perfect health, exercise is no less important than diet. The reason why our ancestors were healthier and stronger than we are is that they led comparatively much more strenuous lives. Today's mechanization has set man against any sort of exertion.
Regular exercise significantly increases life expectancy and improves overall health. It's never too late to improve your health through regular exercise. Here are some simple tips to help you begin your exercise routine.

Effects of exercise

Regular exercise makes the heart muscles stronger and more efficient. The heart-beats of an athlete do not increase appreciably even when doing something requiring physical exertion, and revert very soon to the normal rate afterwards. In contrast, even a little exertion sends the pulse rate of a sedentary individual rocketing up, and it takes time for the heart to settle down to its normal rate of beating.
Regular exercise strengthens the muscles, promotes their development and increases their efficiency. Stronger muscles lend better support to the joints.

During vigorous or rapid exercise, the blood circulation in certain muscles and organs increases 25 to 30 times, thus supplying the muscles and organs with more oxygen and a larger number of red blood corpuscles.
Breathing becomes not only more rapid, but also deeper, thus making increased quantities of oxygen available.
The temperature of the body rises during exercise. This promotes the burning up of the toxic substances in the body.

The secretion of the digestive juices is stimulated by exercise. Thus digestion becomes more efficient. Exercises also stimulate the intestinal movements (peristalsis), resulting in more effective elimination of wastes.

Each person should set aside a minimum period of 30 to 40 minutes every day in the morning for exercise

Enjoy Holiday

How about living and spending one day in a different way from your other days? You can create and enjoy a beautiful, satisfying and wonderful day. You can do so, by making small changes in your daily life.

Get up, wash, change your clothes and sit for meditation for about twenty minutes, using any meditation technique that you know. If you do not know how to meditate, just sit down and visualize some pleasurable and happy events from the past.

Wakeup early which gives you more time in the morning, so why not enjoy a nourishing and tasty breakfast? Prepare something you love, something that you usually do not have the time to prepare in the morning. You have got the time today. pay attention to your food, and don't read the newspaper or watch the television at the same time. If you do so, you will enjoy your food much more.

Remember to smile more often during the day.
It is important that the smile is not a artificial, but that it comes from inside you. Smiling makes you and other people feel happier.

Expect the best and do your best.

Be patient and tolerant toward others.

Greet the people who work with you, even if you have never done so before.
In this special day act unhurriedly.

Do your best to stay relaxed. Remind yourself often that it is your beautiful, wonderful day.

When back home from work, what about a flower, a book, or some other small gift to your spouse and children? Even a smile, a hug or a kiss will do.

Don't forget to devote some time for yourself.

I have talked about meditation, but do also something that you love, such as reading a book, writing, devoting some time to your hobby, walking or any other physical exercises.

Try to live one wonderful day. Then enjoy another day like it.

If you continue, this will become a habit.

Remember that today is a special and wonderful day.

It is different from the other days.

How To Relax

Here are some tips. Each one of these tips is practical and useful. It is not difficult to practice them any where at any time. Whether you are in office, work, home or club.
* Better memory is good but sometimes forgetfulness also helps in relaxing the brain muscles.

* Challenge yourself with a good crossword puzzle.

* Do not dwell on the past – live for present – plan for the future.

* Forget not a little kindness and remember not little faults.

* Stop and take a deep breath every now and then.

* Take a leisurely ride to a small town; be a part of slow pace.

* Take long walks with your spouse, children, friends, parents or the dog.

* When you’re feeling down, go to some religious place and have a good cry to relieve your tension.

* When you share your sorrow it is halved—when you share the joy it is doubled.

* Volunteer – lend a hand.

* You cannot be happy without making someone else happy.

Health is wealth

How to stay healthy ?
As a matter of practical consideration, the maintenance of your health involves two major components: minimizing exposure to disease or toxins, and maintenance of the physical body.

Minimizing exposure to disease and toxins is mostly a matter of cleanliness and order. Simple things - like keeping the wood alcohol in the garage, and not the kitchen cupboard - minimize the risk of accidental poisoning. Cleaning cooking surfaces and cooking food completely reduces the risk of bacterial contamination. Washing your hands regularly prevents transmission of human borne viruses and diseases.

In a similar manner, some of the hot-button issues in education today are essentially issues about how to warn against exposure to diseases and toxins. In a nutshell: if you have physical intercourse with another person you are facilitating the transmission of disease, so wear protection. Activities such as drinking, eating fatty foods, smoking, and taking drugs are essentially the introduction of toxins into your system, so do it in moderation, and where the toxins are significant, don't do it at all.

Personal maintenance is probably even more important, as the major threats to health are generally those related to physical deterioration. The subjects of proper nutrition and proper exercise should be learned and practiced. Even if you do not become a health freak (and who does?) it is nonetheless useful to know what foods and types of actions are beneficial, and to create a habit of eating good foods and practicing beneficial actions.

Every day, seek to be active in some way - cycle to work or school, walk a mile, play a sport, or exercise. In addition, every day, seek to eat at least one meal that is "good for you", that consists of protein and minerals (like meat and vegetables, or soy and fruit). If your school is not facilitating proper exercise and nutrition, demand them! You can't learn anything if you're sick and hungry! Otherwise, seek to establish an alternative program of your own, to be employed at noonhours.

Finally, remember: you never have to justify protecting your own life and health.

If you do not want to do something because you think it is unsafe, then it is your absolute right to refuse to do it. The consequences - any consequences - are better than giving in on this.
**Health Is Wealth **

Positive Thinking

It is quite common to hear people say: "Think positive!", to someone who feels down and worried. Most people do not take these words seriously, as they do not know what they really mean, or do not consider them as useful and effective.

Positive and negative thinking are both contagious. All of us affect, in one way or another, the people we meet. This happens instinctively and on a subconscious level, through thoughts and feelings transference and through body language. People sense our aura and are affected by our thoughts. Is it any wonder that we want to be around positive persons and shun negative ones? People are more disposed to help us if we are positive. They dislike and avoid anyone broadcasting negativity.

Negative thoughts, words and attitude bring up negative and unhappy moods and actions. When the mind is negative, poisons are released into the blood, which cause more unhappiness and negativity. This is the way to failure, frustration and disappointment.

In order to turn the mind toward the positive, inner work and training are required. Attitude and thoughts do not change overnight.

Always visualize only favorable and beneficial situations. Use positive words in your inner dialogues or when talking with others. Smile a little more, as this helps to think positively. Disregard any feelings of laziness or a desire to quit. If you persevere, you will transform the way your mind thinks.

In case you feel any inner resistance when replacing negative thoughts with positive ones, do not give up, but keep looking only at the beneficial, good and happy thoughts in your mind.
It does not matter what your circumstances are at the present moment. Think positively, expect only favorable results and situations, and circumstances will change accordingly. It may take some time for the changes to take place, but eventually they do.

Positive thinking is a mental attitude that admits into the mind thoughts, words and images that are conductive to growth, expansion and success. It is a mental attitude that expects good and favorable results. A positive mind anticipates happiness, joy, health and a successful outcome of every situation and action. Whatever the mind expects, it finds.

Manage Stress

The following should help you tackle the stress-related problems:

* It is beneficial to look for ways to de-stress ourselves physically and emotionally.

*When you feel a little hot under the collar and are ready to burst out, take a TIME OUT!

*Take some time out for yourself - do exercise, yoga or meditation or read books, listen to music, watch television or play your favourite sport.

*Set yourself targets and decide the plan of action.

*Once you complete the assigned task, pamper yourself to a nice dinner or an ice cream. This makes you feel better and gears you up for another hard day.

*For the religious minded, a brief meditation and prayer relaxes mind to a great extent.

*There is nothing like a good hot water bath.

*Being an active listener always helps Wait for the person to finish speaking before drawing conclusions.

*Try putting yourself in the other person's shoes in tricky situations.

*Finally, self-control helps you score better in the long run.

*A nice holiday away from the routine is the ultimate stress-buster.

*Work on your shortcomings.

Believe me, a little patience works wonders!
